Stephen Ternullo Sr. moved to Stoneham in 1992 to raise his two children, Alyssa and Stephen Jr., both of whom graduated from the Stoneham Public Schools and are now adults. He is a longtime Stoneham taxpayer, homeowner, and active member of the community.
In 2007, Stephen met his wife Catherine. Together they built a blended family and are proud parents of four adult children: Alyssa, Stephen Jr., Emily, and Samantha. Family has always been at the center of Stephen’s life, and his commitment to community service has grown out of that same dedication to family values.
Stephen’s involvement in town life began when his children started playing youth sports. He volunteered as a coach for Stoneham Youth Hockey, Stoneham Youth Soccer, and Stoneham Little League, and also served as an elected member of the Stoneham Youth Hockey Board of Directors. Today, he continues to serve as Quartermaster of VFW Post 620 and as a member of the Stoneham Veterans’ Committee.
Stephen proudly served our country in the United States Army and is a Disabled Veteran, having been stationed in the Republic of Korea. He is also a life member of several Veterans’ organizations, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Korean War Veterans Association, and Disabled American Veterans.
For over 37 years, Stephen has worked in the trades as a commercial and industrial HVAC Service Technician, specializing in municipalities and project maintenance. He understands firsthand the importance of ensuring that public buildings and infrastructure are properly maintained, and he will bring that experience with him to Beacon Hill.
Stephen is running for State Representative in the 31st Middlesex District, representing Stoneham and Winchester, to be a Voice for the Taxpayer. He believes our families deserve oversight, transparency, and fiscal discipline on Beacon Hill. With the cost of living continuing to rise, Stephen will fight to keep Stoneham and Winchester affordable for all.
Together, we can change direction. The Committee to Elect Stephen G. Ternullo respectfully asks for your support and your vote in this election. It would be an honor for Stephen to serve as your next State Representative for the 31st Middlesex District.
I am proud to have served our nation as a member of the United States Army. The values of duty, honor, and commitment that I carried with me in uniform continue to guide me today. My time in the Army taught me the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and service before self — lessons I carry into my work on behalf of our community.
Today, I continue that service as Quartermaster of VFW Post 620 here in Stoneham. In this role, I work alongside fellow veterans to support military families, honor those who served, and strengthen the bonds that keep our community together.
Service has always been at the center of my life — whether to country, to fellow veterans, or to the people of Stoneham and Winchester. I will bring that same dedication and integrity to representing you on Beacon Hill.
